Please be sure you have read and understood the rules below before you book your ride:

Rules & Guidelines for Trail Rides

  • Must be able to mount the horse with minimal assistance.

  • Must be able to sit in the saddle unaccompanied for at least 60 minutes.

  • Must be at least 7 years of age.

  • No doubles

  • Weight Limit: 250 pounds.  Our weight limit, as dictated by our liability insurance, is 250 lbs.  The weight limit is non-negotiable and is set for the safety of our riders as well as the health of our horses.  Respecting our guests and their privacy is very important to us, and for this reason, riders can expect to be weighed in a private setting if Management is concerned that a rider may be above the designated weight limit.  If a rider appears to be over the weight limit the office staff will respectfully request a private discussion with the rider away from their party.  If the rider is over 250lbs. sadly, the rider cannot ride for that day and we will offer a full refund as well as discuss an appropriate manner in which the rider would like to notify the rest of their party.

*Please inform the staff of any medical conditions that could potentially impact your well-being or require special attention while in their care. By providing this information, the staff can take necessary precautions to ensure your safety and provide you with the appropriate level of support. This will help to ensure that you have a positive experience and enjoy your ride.

Reservation and Missed Ride Policy

All reservations must be made via phone.  Please call the Barn Office at 812-988-8166.  If we do not answer, we may be helping other customers or out on the trail.  Canceling your ride affects business significantly as we have often turned away other customers to secure your spot. Most of our guests reserve their horses well in advance, so it is difficult to replace a reservation at late notice.  If you are late or miss your ride time and wish to reschedule, you will be expected to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit in advance.  As of 10/1/24- Groups of 6 or more will require a 50% non-refundable deposit that will be applied to the rides at check-in.  This will help avoid large reservations with multiple no-shows.  If we cancel due to weather then your deposit can be refunded or applied to a later date.

Being on Time Is Very Important

MUST ARRIVE AT LEAST 15 minutes before your scheduled ride for our safety talk and trip preparation. If you are late, you forfeit your reservation and will have to be rescheduled for another ride time.
